Symonds Yat Slalom - 15th-16th March 2025

Wow! What a weekend…

From wins to swims, we had it all. Huge thanks to Wyedean Canoe Club for a brilliant race last weekend at Symonds Yat.

First off we want to say a huge congratulations to Riley for being promoted in C1 to Div 1 with two wins what an amazing achievement! He followed this up with a 5th in K1 on Saturday and kept it casual for Sunday with a respectable 12th.

Eva, secured a win in K1 on Saturday meaning she has one more win to go before promotion to Div 2 she followed this up with a steady 2nd for Sunday.

Rowan has definitely found his feet in Div 2 K1 Saturday as he scored a valiant 24th place and really kicked it up a notch in his Div 3 C1 receiving 2nd place. If that wasn't enough, Rowan also came 1st in Kayak X!!

Louis’ head was in the game this weekend and had some blinders securing him 3rd place on Saturday and 2nd place on Sunday in K1!

Looked like the K1 Div 3 boys were really going for it as Harrison scored 6th on Saturday followed by a 3rd on Sunday and Freddie scaled the results board with a 10th on Saturday followed by a fabulous 4th on Sunday.

The results don't just finish there… we saw Tavi and Ingela in Div 2 showing the juniors how its done withsome excellent results in tough competition.

Huge thanks to all our Seren Dwr coaches, parents and participants that helped make this weekend a success. We couldn't do it without you!
