Slalom bib applications are now open for the upcoming canoe slalom racing season. If you are planning to compete in slalom events this year, you will need to apply for your official slalom bib through the Slalom Bib System.
This guide explains how to apply for a slalom bib, including what to do if you are applying for the first time, membership requirements and where to find your local bib officer.

First Time Applying for a Slalom Bib?
If you are new to canoe slalom and have never held a slalom bib before, there are a few important steps to complete before you can apply online.
Slalom Bib Applications for New Canoe Slalom Paddlers
Step 1: Check Your Paddlesport Membership
To hold a slalom bib, you must be a member of one of the Home Nation paddlesport organisations:
Paddle UK
Paddle Scotland
Paddle Cymru
Paddle Northern Ireland
If you are a Seren Dŵr Kayak Club member, you are already a Paddle Cymru member through the club.
If you are not currently a member, you can join Paddle Cymru here: https://www.paddlecymru.org.uk/membership-options
Step 2: Contact Your Regional Bib Officer
If this is your first slalom bib, you must contact the appropriate bib officer to be registered.
Bib officers are responsible for creating your bib record on the system.
Find your regional bib officer here: https://www.canoeslalom.co.uk/bibs/bib-officers/
Step 3: Apply for Your Bib Online
Once your bib has been added to the system by the bib officer, you can then apply online via the Slalom Bib System.
Renewing or Applying for an Existing Slalom Bib
If you already hold a slalom bib, simply log in to the Slalom Bib System and complete your application as normal.
Support for Seren Dŵr Slalom Paddlers
