Slalom Start
A supportive, adventurous paddling programme for children and families.
Focused on confidence building, fun games and belonging whilst developing slalom skills along the way

Thursdays 6–8pm | Cardiff International White Water Centre | Ages 8+

Designed for adults and families who want to try something different.

Explore the outdoors, build confidence on (and in) the water and enjoy exciting weekends away.

What is Slalom Start?
Slalom is an exciting Olympic sport where paddlers race on lakes and rivers through hanging gates without touching them.

But the Slalom Start programme begins somewhere more important:
with adventure, friendship and confidence building.

We lead with experience first, not performance. Children and adults discover paddling through games, exploration and shared challenge. Once they feel safe and confident, slalom becomes the tool that lets them go further.
